To Pine, Whine, or Waste Your Time

I am the queen of getting over things. But, I don’t always know how to communicate how I do it. I think it may be as simple as this mantra:

I don’t pine, whine, or waste my time.

My friend told me a story about working with people with mental disorders. She said many of them are homeless. When they hear of her struggles, she says they often state, “I’ll pray for you.”

They pray for HER. Now, that is heart.

She notes they are often mistreated, neglected, and ignored. We feel sorry for them, but they have the lock on moving forward.

They don’t pine, whine, or waste their time.

People are protective of their hearts, their love. Maybe the heart has been broken. But you don’t have to be frustrated you gave your heart. It’s a muscle that gets stronger the more you use it. Move forward.

Don’t pine, whine, or waste your time.

After receiving much consolation after a recent break-up, the president of the Dooley B.O.T. said this to me:

“It’s typical that people would think you are hurting. But you only move forward.”

Feel what you need, but move forward. Stop resisting.

Don’t pine, whine, or waste your time.
