Handling Resistance

As I came from class, then a Skype consult, then teaching, and walking to training – I stopped in my tracks on 40th and Lex.

And I felt a crushing pang of doubt.

“You can’t do all of this.”
“This is the busiest you’ve ever been.”
“When is enough just enough?”
“People don’t need to be inspired.”
“Just go home. You don’t need to train on top of all this.”

I felt it – a wall of resistance.

And you’ve felt it, too – because we are all 99% the same anyway.

The key to achieving excellence is not the lack of walls. It’s in your ability to bust through them.

I stopped in my tracks, surprised by my psyche. No punishment was administered for that doubtful moment.

I kept moving forward toward my destination. As soon as I got there, I felt ready to train.

One can’t be afraid or stopped by a level of resistance.

Push back by moving forward.
