Evolve to Be Upright

I’m consistently the Posture Police with my patients. From structure to function, i know how much posture matters.

Do what you’ve always done, and you’ll get what you’ve always had – until you break.

Or, you can choose to evolve.

You evolved to be upright. You crawled as a child, and your sole job as a child was to get moving. But you didn’t move until you had the stability to do so.

You fell over and failed. You weren’t afraid of failure. Then, one day – you didn’t fail. And your parents flipped their lid with joy.

Posture is no different. At first, it feels challenging. You’ll try and fail. This is how you learn. Then one day, your shoulders will sit a little lower without you thinking about it. You’ll even catch yourself in bad posture.

THAT is progress. THAT is evolution. The recognition of failure drives one toward success.

Remember: To be upright is a right we earn. And we also earn its daily maintenance.
