Dealing with Movement Demons

Dooley Noted: 12/21/2013

If you have musculoskeletal pain, then you’ve got Movement Demons.

Maybe it’s a sprained ankle from high school that completely altered your gait.

Maybe the whiplash from a car accident now protecting the neck so fiercely that it dominates movement patterning.

Pain returns in an incompletely rehabilitated area of trauma to remind you: deal with me, or I’m here for good.

Deal with the root of the injury, and you have a maximized potential to change it.

Ignore it, and it will continue to find you.

So, you can stave it off with your method of choice. Feel free to coat your symptoms.

Or, get assessed. Get corrected. Work day in and day out to make the necessary changes to regress in order to progress.

As always, it’s your call.
