The Crumbling Mansion

Dooley Noted: 1/15/2014

The mansion was built to be the most beautiful house anyone passed.

Every curve, every pillar was shaped to perfection. It’s adornments were breath-taking. It was visually stunning.

Everyone wanted to look.

But no one paid attention to the foundation.

The beautiful mansion was built on a wobbly foundation.

The pillars started to buckle. The adornments fell. The house imploded in on itself.

Without a foundation, the beauty could not be maintained.

It didn’t happen overnight. It happened with a creak here, a crack there. Eventually the foundation flaws accumulated into devastation.

This is what happens when you build a beautiful body, with no concern for your foundation.

Build a foundation like Fort Knox. Then, adorn it so it can always be improved without concern for a crumbling foundation.

But as always, it’s your call.
