Why I’m No Longer Writing Dooley Noted

Dooley Noted: 4/1/2014

With such a busy, intense schedule, I’m sure you all will understand when I tell you I’m no longer writing Dooley Noted.

Luckily, it’s April Fool’s Day, and you must know I have no intention of stopping.

Today is the 1,187th daily entry. This blog has been one of the most consistent things I’ve done for more than three years.

But in a way, I’m not even writing Dooley Noted anymore. It is a stream of consciousness. It has helped one person every day, and so it must continue.

It makes some people mad.

It makes some people think.

Many people don’t read it, and that is, of course, their call.

But if it inspires people to think or write for themselves, then it must continue.

On days when I’ve been “busy” or “tired,” knowing you folks are reading gives me extra encouragement to write.

You feed me, like I want to feed you.

I’m honored to be working with you on this Information Superhighway.

Hopefully, Dooley Noted inspires you to write, share, and learn for yourself.

As always, it’s your call.
