The other day, I walked into Catalyst SPORT, our gym.
My business partner laughed.
I laughed and said, “What?!”
He said, “You just sort of shine with happiness.”
And he’s right. I am very happy.
But the brightest light is always contrasted by darkness.
People around you may shine like a diamond.
You may even wonder about their secrets to joy.
Don’t assume for a second they haven’t experienced darkness.
It’s the contrast that you are truly seeing.
These people have been through hardship, and they’ve seen their ways out of it.
They may even be right smack in the middle of their hardships, but they are choosing their attitudes to be the light in the face of darkness.
If you see light, reflect it onto yourself. See how you might change your outlook – and even your health and happiness – by making a choice to be the light contrasting the dark.
As always, it’s your call.
