Immaculate Dissection Day II: Dissecting the Correctives

Dooley Noted: 1/11/2015

Today, we carried over the anatomy and palpation knowledge into corrective work on the core muscles.

The anatomy lecture and palpation definitely carried over into the nuances of corrective exercise.

We helped distinguish quiet breathing from tension breathing.

We built a stable base before progressing into more challenging drills.

We discussed the important of internal awareness versus external cueing.

Since I’m a huge fan of quizzing for accountability, attendees repeated back to me important anatomic connections and earned a few T-shirts.

They left tired and eager to apply the anatomy, palpation, and correctives.

What a weekend!

A special thank you to my business partners, Danny Quirk and Anna Folckomer. (WE DID IT! And they LIKE it!)

Another thank you to our body models Anna and Eric Chessen, who was also our sponsor. He demoed the Fitness Sledge, from his company, Stronger Than U.

And to the attendees who bit the bullet for our debut: Your courage in trusting us with your weekend will not be forgotten.

THANK YOU.

If you missed out this weekend, we have 7 more cities planned for 2015.

They will be posted soon.

I hope you’ll save a weekend to learn with us.

As always, it’s your call.
