People Who’ve Changed Me: Part 15

Dooley Noted: 3/20/15

The Person: Evan Marcantonio

Profession: strength and health coach

How I know him: I met Evan through his equally incredible wife, Liz, via a bodybuilding fantasy camp in 2010. We have both significantly changed our fitness focus, and are now both kettlebell giryas.

How he’s changed me: When I had the honor of assessing Evan, his forthright nature and eagerness to change showed me that even fitness professionals need other fitness professionals looking after them.

We often are expected to program for ourselves and tough out injuries in silence. Evan’s brave humility encouraged me to more diligently address my own health challenges.
