Learning from Friends

I took Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) Part A last year, and I found myself using components of it daily.

But as we often do, we return to what we know and to what we are accustomed.

So, I didn’t find myself frequently studying the technique in order to advance my knowledge.

Then, my former chiropractic classmate came to town.

Dr. Kris Kirby sat behind me for nearly 4 years in chiropractic school.

We bonded on day 1.

We continued that bond this weekend, as he took the course I lead instructed with NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT) Level II.

Kris and I stayed up late, combining our ideas. As I helped him improve his NKT skill set, he showed me more about DNS.

We saw how well the two techniques complemented each other. Soon, we were geeking out until after midnight.

We were both re-inspired to study our respective techniques.

I loved helping my friend, and I really loved him helping me advance my own knowledge!

It’s amazing to choose friends that want to advance you in your understanding.

You can choose friends that talk you out of your hard work.

Or, you can surround yourself with people that can help you as much as you help them in their purpose and passion.

As always, it’s your call.
