I hear people tell me often: “I need motivation.”
They may have a goal in mind.
I have achieved some major goals in my life.
What they have in common is that I never stated the words, “I need motivation.”
This makes motivation sound mystical, as if is something you obtain.
But motivation is a brainchild of passion and desire.
Motivation is lies within you, when the goal achievement is non-negotiable.
You will have to sacrifice time with family, friends – and Netflix.
They will all understand, because they see the passionate look in your eye.
It will take creative time management to balance all life’s components around the goal achievement.
There will be times where you will fail.
And you will have choice at that moment to continue or to give up.
I hope you continue.
I hope you realize that people are watching, and you may awaken the motivation inside of them.
Let them watch you fail and pick yourself back up again.
You were fearless once.
You let yourself fail over and over while passion and desire for the goal kept picking you back up.
Keep going.
Keep moving forward.
Or, keep hoping motivation will magically arrive.
As always, it’s your call.
