People Who’ve Changed Me: Part 30

Dooley Noted: 7/10/2015

The Person: Karine Anidjar

Profession: Office Services Manager

How I know her:

Karine came to me last year as a patient referral from a colleague. I had big shoes to fill, since she was also getting advice from some industry greats.

Karine and I clicked because she was tired of getting advice that she should not do activities such as weightlifting. Karine notes our focus on getting to the “why” was what made her a diligent patient.

How she’s changed me:
Karine showed up at my practice door in her forties, noting that she wanted to one day to do her StrongFirst Kettlebell instructor certification. Karine was not employed in the fitness industry, and she never used her age, small stature, nor inexperience as excuses.

She not only responded favorably to only a few treatments, but I was very proud to be an assistant at the StrongFirst NYC at which she earned her Kettlebell certification.

I was also honored to stand side by side to her at Catalyst SPORT, as we took our StrongFirst Barbell certification together this past March.

She is now a member of the Catalyst SPORT powerlifting team!

Karine likes to say I changed her life. But she knows the truth: she changed mine right back by showing that our system works. She employed the advice of Catalyst SPORT principles, and she’s stronger than she’s ever been in her life.

It’s no accident that she’s pain-free, too. Strength in the right places will do that.

Thank you, Karine, for showing me that I don’t have to see patients 3 days a week for 6 weeks to change the world. And thanks for being part of our Catalyst team!
