Dooley Noted: 9/1/15
The sun is almost always shining here at the equator.
I look out every morning at a vast ocean and beautiful beach.
It’s hot every day – and I love the heat.
One would say this is paradise.
But last night, I got on a call with my business partners.
We talked about future collaborations, seminars, and basic productivity.
And I knew that I helped to create my own paradise back in NYC.
It’s not sunny weather every day – but I feel so bright and shiny inside the walls of Catalyst SPORT.
There’s no ocean to watch – but there’s an ocean of possibilities in the city that never sleeps.
We created a culture in a NYC gym that focuses on mobility, stability, and strength.
We hold each other accountable, as we hold our clients accountable.
Yes, NYC is loud and often dirty.
It’s expensive and doesn’t get a ton of sunshine.
But one can make any place a little closer to paradise if you choose to create the culture you desire.
