People Who’ve Changed Me: Part 39

Dooley Noted: 9/10/2015
The Person: Christina Devos

Profession: massage therapist, kettlebell instructor, performing strong woman
How I know her:

Christina and I met at our Russian Kettlebell Challenge (RKC) I certification. We were both lamenting on dropping the bell on our snatch tests.
I had no idea I was meeting one of the strongest women I will ever meet.
We are sisters in strength, obtaining our StrongFirst Level II girya certs on the same weekend. We went on to learn to bend steel and rip phone books together, although she has long surpassed me! I continue to look up to her.
How she’s changed me:

Christina has shown me that strength comes only from a place of perseverance. She eliminates all negative self-talk that can stand in the way of strength.
Knowing I don’t enjoy massage, she offered to treat me with ashiatsu. It was the most comfortable, incredible experience, and I fell asleep on her table.

Everything she does comes from a place of care and pure love. She is my sister in strength and my direct line to every positive outlook.
Watch her bend steel, press bells, or do handstands. She’ll show you strength comes from within a positive mindset.

She can do anything because she believes she can.
