The Person: Stacy Hennis
Profession: Neurological Physical Therapist
How I met her:
I met Stacy through the NeuroKinetic Therapy community, participating in her LA study group when I was in town.
We met again this summer via Skype and in-person, as she allowed me to assess her movement on a few occasions.
How she’s changed me:
It’s sometimes tough to get solid treatment within your own professional realm. And doctors often have trouble being patients.
But Stacy was completely candid with me from the start, sharing the fine details of her health that could help us develop a proper protocol for her.
She followed my suggestions to the letter, and we worked a team with other practitioners to get her health in the right direction.
Watching her progress so quickly was complete validation of the work I put into my practice. She gave me her trust, and I returned that with my own. And together, with an amazing like-minded team, we worked to get her it the best health picture possible in the quickest amount of time with the least consequence.
Thank you, Stacy, for showing me the importance of self-care for health practitioners. And thank you for the extra ounce of validation that my practice is as it should be and will only get better.
