The Person: Colin Butler
Profession: Athletic Training undergrad student
How I Met Him:
Colin’s previous physical therapist had me as his NKT level 1 instructor. After learning more about me from my website, Colin felt he could benefit from my skill set.
How He’s Changed Me:
Colin came to me with an over 30 degree Cobb angle (s measurement for scoliosis). He was able to reduce his curve by 13 degrees, as he helped himself minimize his back discomfort.
I’ve never had a client or patient quite like Colin. He wanted to gobble up any functional anatomy knowledge I could deliver. He studied all assigned rehabilitative drills carefully, and he consistently sent me videos for corrections.
Colin often brought his mother to the visits, who was equally fascinated by the rehabilitative strategies. Colin was so inspired by the changes he saw in his own efforts that he changed his college major!
Don’t be surprised if you see Colin as the front runner of seminar series and rehabilitation in the near future.
