This weekend was a special one.
We performed our first four-day seminar series, levels I and II of Immaculate Dissection.
We saw a deficit in the teaching of functional anatomy and movement correctives.
This was an opportunity for us to fill in some gaps for Europe.
Ten years of dedication to anatomy and movement transferred into four days of fine points.
And it was a dream come true.
When opportunity knocks, you must answer.
Opportunity includes sacrifice and work.
Dissonance and doubt may be fired at you.
And it may take decades to reap the fruits of your labor.
But I can tell you first hand that no better feeling exists.
You will feel the immense sense of purpose that is bigger than even you.
It is this same purpose that helped me find the true love of my life.
He was a model and videographer for the seminar this week.
We both worked separately for decades, developing our purposes.
We were unyielding in our efforts and unwilling to stay in relationships in which our purpose was in threat of being clouded.
And one day, quite literally, I knocked on his door.
He saw opportunity knocking.
And he answered.
I answered right back.
We didn’t miss the opportunity.
And we fill spend the rest of our lives supporting in each other to fulfill our purpose.
I hope you find a life of purpose.
I hope you let it guide your life, even through hardships and exhaustive efforts.
And when opportunity knocks, I hope you let the purpose guide you through the door.
As always, it’s your call.
