Today is a birthday so special that it deserves more than a Facebook wall post.
Today is Dr. Anna Folckomer’s birthday.
Anna is not only the co-founder and co-owner of Immaculate Dissection (ID), our fun and informative anatomy seminar series.
Anna is one of the most skilled acupuncturists/herbalists I have ever had the honor of working alongside.
And her career is just getting started!
She not only treats me with TCM, but several members of my family, also. When I detect my patients have systemic pattern issues that could be well-treated with Chinese medicine, Anna is the first referral.
I have had the honor of co-caring with her for almost one year now, and our patients get better faster with us all working together as a team.
Anna has also blossomed into an amazing teacher, and she is a big reason why we have been successful internationally in our first year of ID.
The amazing Danny Quirk, Anna and I created a seminar where we saw a deficit.
And Anna and Danny have spent many sleepless nights preparing students for one of the most powerful seminars they will take all year.
She’s one of the most compassionate, fun, and focused people that I’ve met in my career. And although she’s incredibly busy, she is still taking the time to fly across the country to attend my wedding this coming weekend.
When I asked her what she wanted for her birthday, she replied she just wants to keep practicing and teaching ID.
Even in her selfish moments, she was still selfless.
She wants to change the world by helping people learn how to help themselves, with rehabilitative techniques like ID and through traditional Chinese medicine principles.
She’s a major team player as a clinician at Catalyst SPORT and as an instructor for ID. If Anna is on your team in any capacity, you are fortified by her presence and efforts.
Please help me make sure she has the most amazing day, full of thank you’s if you had the honor of being treated or taught by her.
If you haven’t met her yet, make a point to do it as soon as possible. Her internal and external beauty is so bright that it lights up a room when she enters it.
You will have a better life for having her and yours.
