I realized today that I live a charmed life.
I spent two weeks overseas, teaching a subject I love and watching sunsets with the man I love.
I then got to marry him, in front of our friends and family.
And today, I returned on a red-eye flight to a clinic I love in a gym I co-own.
Today, in a moment of pure gratitude, I rode the long, late trip home.
I know that nothing lasts forever.
I see that life is a blur, filled with moments of clarity that you create.
As I performed get-ups on my only break, I appreciated how my body felt fluid and my heart felt full.
And after a stressful wedding weekend, I could see through the blur and note all I loved and appreciated.
Knowing I can lose any of it in a second makes me appreciate it that much more.
I hope you take the time to appreciate all you have.
It doesn’t mean you can’t want for more.
(Although for me, I am not sure what’s left!)
But I hope you can see what you’ve earned and breathe it in.
Those moments of clarity in the blur can make your life feel completely worthwhile.
As always, it’s your call.
