You’ll be hard-pressed to meet a more talented human being than Danny Quirk.

I have the honor and privilege of working alongside him at our Immaculate Dissection seminars, where he has created original art for a stellar manual and live body paintings to better visualize moving anatomy.

But what his 50,000 + followers may not know is that he is one of the world’s kindest and wittiest humans.
This week, Danny’s father shocked his family with a heart attack.
As his father left this earth, Danny reached out to the ID team, letting us know he couldn’t make our weekly meeting.
Even in his time of tragedy, he acted like a complete gentleman.
Danny inspires me every time I am graced with his presence.
But the way he is currently handling the loss of his father showed me how I want to act in the face of tragedy.
He is supporting his family and grieving properly.
And even though he had a perfect excuse to shirk his professional responsibilities, he didn’t.
He reached out to his team, telling us about his father’s abrupt yet gentle passing and how his family was doing.
If you know Danny, please send him a kind note and remind him what a place he makes in anatomic education and in art. I’m sure your condolences will be met with his typical gentlemanly gratitude.
And if you don’t know him, follow his page, Danny Quirk Artwork.
I am proud to hang his original art in my home, and I look at his art daily with complete adoration for what he gives the world.
Let’s all give back to him today.
As always, it’s your call.
