Limitless

Dooley Noted: 6/14/2016

This evening, I went bowling with my husband.

That may sound like an uneventful night – unless you are hanging out with my husband.

He was bowling inefficiently, going through the motions.

Then I said to him, “Tap into yourself to see if you can get a strike.”

He zoned in, as I’ve seen him do many times in meditation.

He then threw a strike.

I asked him what it felt like, to be limitless.

He reminded me that I already knew.

I thought about the times I got out of my own way.

When my give-a-damn was busted, I saw myself in a whole new light.

I started running for sport, for miles on end with no exhaustion felt.

I jumped out of airplanes, with zero fear.

I imagined a career path for myself, and the road was created right in front of me.

And I also imagined a love of my life, one who would support me in every realm of life.

The brain can’t differentiate what is imagined and what is real.

When you are limitless, things gravitate to you that you imagine, as if they were magnets.

You can be limitless.

You don’t need a pill or a special strategy.

But you may need time, patience, and a metric ton of self-confidence.

If you want it, create it.

I hope you press your limits to see they only exist within your own confines.

As always, it’s your call.
