On Partnership

Dooley Noted: 7/26/2016

I worked and lived alone off and on for many years.

As I partnered with my colleagues at Catalyst SPORT, I learned quickly that the sum is greater than the parts.
Being part of a strong team shows that the members are mutually enhancing.

The same is true for our Immaculate Dissection seminar family, which is expanding week by week.

By myself, I can help some people.

As part of expanding partnerships, I can help as many people as we can all reach as individuals – and then some.

I have traveled overseas many times alone.

Traveling with my husband overseas has been a major education in the power of partnership.

He not only supports my work, but he allows himself to get painted for hours and hours – just to learn more about human movement and anatomy.

He knows to be an even better partner, he must seek understanding of my passions and integrate them into our partnership.

I return the favor to him, attempting to bend items I have perceived as unbendable, like 60-penny nails and 3 inch-thick phone books.

Working and being alone can get you somewhere.

But building powerful partnerships can push you further than you would ever get as individuals.

I highly recommend finding strong partners to keep you company on your path to success.

You’ll only enhance one another, and you will potentially build a culture that’s much bigger than you as an individual.

As always, it’s your call.
