At 12:12 pm on 12/12/12, I was teaching the spermatic cord contents to a brilliant, attentive and hilarious group of med students who stopped everything to acknowledge the moment. We agreed there was no place we’d rather be. So.Much.Fun. In case you need the mnemonic for the cord’s contents, it’s “Pampers don’t contribute to a very good social life.” 😉

Today, I worked side-by-side with an orthopedist,whose patient she referred to me for movement retraining. This is not a war. This is about the patient. Show what you can do, and it unfolds. This is not a competition but a symbiosis. Now, let’s get people well.
“Dr. Dooley, I’m in zero pain. I can’t even believe it. I tried to get my friend to come to you, but she doesn’t think it will help -despite what I tell her.” And THAT is when you give your personal cell phone. No greater call I could ever receive.
