Fixing the Sweep

Video Dooley Noted: 7/31/2015
In this video segment of Dooley Noted, I discuss a tricky transition of the Turkish Getup called the Leg Sweep.
In this challenging transition, one must maintain abdominal stability while transitioning the bodyweight of an entire lower extremity from the front towards the back, in order to post the knee.
The simultaneously works on anterior and posterior oblique functional slings, coordinating major muscle groups to help stabilize a moving limb.
If you have never tried it, or need some sweep cues, please watch!
As always, it’s your call.
