The Person: Eric Moss
Profession: strength coach, Owner of Eric Moss Fitness, performing strongman
How I know him:
I met Eric at the Tamer Takes Manhattan Workshop in 2013, the same seminar where I would meet my future business partner, Joe Boffi. David Whitley paired Eric and I together to work on our kettlebell swings.
I had never met an athlete with such an intense stare and focus. He gave me enormously helpful feedback, and we developed an instantaneous friendship.
How he’s changed me:
Eric showed me that strength is not just for men. It is a right and an honor, to be respected and to be earned by all genders at all ages.
He feels that strength is just as easily attainable for women as it is for men, and that it is our right as women to develop our strength.
He has completely turned his life around, and is now a motivational speaker for people of all ages. He uses a unique motivational format, performing strength feats that impossible. He shows his audience that anything is quite probable if you work at it.
He will not except defeat, not even from a steel bar he’s bending across his nose. He’s a strongman, in every sense of the word. And it’s an honor to be his friend and colleague.
