You trained for months for an event – and you didn’t reach your goal.
You studied for weeks – and you performed poorly on the test.
You gave every ounce of love and effort you have – and the relationship still didn’t work out.
It’s difficult to recover when your try just isn’t good enough to get the results you wanted.
But there is great success to be had in failure.
Sometimes the things we want are goals we weren’t meant to have.
But most of the time, failure requires us to dig deeper than we knew was possible to get the job done.
If you think you tried hard enough – maybe there is more.
Maybe failure is the only drill to dig the hole deep enough for you to discover how much more is deep inside of you.
If you didn’t get the goal this round, you can absolutely give up on it.
Or, you can let the failure open you up to the possibility that there is more in you than previously discovered.
As always, it’s your call.
